HOW IT WORKS
The Diolaze procedure uses a diode laser to combine high peak power and a large spot size energy beam, yielding the most effective laser treatment on the market. The energy from the beam penetrates both the root, and the follicle, to safely and effectively kill both, preventing future hair growth.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In only a few sessions, most patients will notice a significant reduction in hair growth, thickness and colour. With a few proper maintenance appointments, Diolaze is an easy, and virtually painless, way to ensure long term hair removal.
FOR BEST RESULTS
How many sessions will I require?
For best results, an initial eight sessions are required. For treatments on the face, these treatments should be booked five weeks apart. For all other areas of the body, treatments should be 6-8 weeks apart.
It is imperative to stick to the suggested routine; Diolaze will not be effective if sessions are missed or not on schedule.
Are there any important pre- or post- treatment care protocols I should follow?
You MUST avoid bleaching, tweezing, plucking or waxing hair for 4-6 weeks prior to your treatment.
Recently tanned skin CANNOT be treated. Receiving Diolaze within two weeks of active tanning (natural sunlight or a tanning bed) may cause hyperpigmentation (white spots), which can last up to 2-3+ months.
Shave the day before your appointment. Between treatment sessions, you may shave, but please refrain from tweezing or waxing.
Immediately following treatment, you may experience redness, like a sunburn, and some slight swelling of the hair follicles at the treatment site. This could last 2-3 days, but is completely normal.
Diolaze is not suitable for people who are:
Pregnant or nursing
Under 18 years of age
Have used Isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past six months prior to treatment
